Sustaining Engineer Job Description & Requirements
Position: Shipping Associate
Location: Golden, CO
Reports to: Shipping Specialist
General Summary:
The Shipping Associate is responsible executing day-to-day operations of picking, packing, and shipping all orders including small parts, apparel, bikes, and frames. We are looking for someone who has attention to detail, can deliver flawless work while performing repetitive tasks, and can produce a high volume of work in a time sensitive environment.
The ideal candidate is someone who understands the importance of maintaining the flow of product. This employee is self-motivated, can increase productivity to meet demand, and is willing to work as part of a team that contributes to all functions of daily warehouse operations.
Essential Job Functions:
Order fulfillment for all domestic and international customers
• Completion and understanding of Commercial Invoices and SLIs, culminating in outbound LTL
freight shipments
• Understanding of shipping nuances such as customs, duties, BOLS, dangerous goods, etc.
• Understand Incoterms such as DDP and FCA Convert HTS codes as required for Canada shipments
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Job Qualifications, Competencies, and Key Attributes:
1+ years' order fulfillment experience
• Ability to regularly lift/move 50 lb packages
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Willingness to adapt and learn new skillsets • Ability to work effectively with others, build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships
with co-workers, and maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations • Excellent listening and verbal communication
Assist with first article inspections and relay feedback to vendor partners. Help identify, communicate, and resolve any systemic warranty issues through corrective
actions.
SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE:
Proficient in SolidWorks
PDM workflow (SolidWorks PDM Professional) Microsoft Office
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Experience as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Quality Engineer with a focus on consumer products
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment and communicating with foreign vendors,
especially Asian
• Solid knowledge of metrology instruments, including calipers, gauges, checking fixtures indicators.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Hands-on and mechanically minded with the ability to take appropriate initiative • Cyclist with a strong preference for dirt
Preferred:
Experience with fabrication, especially machining/CAM and welding
Experience with 3D printing

$50,000-75,000 annually, depending on experience
