Sr. Social Influencer Specialist Job Description & Requirements
General Summary
The Senior Social Influencer Specialist supports the discovery of new brand aligned influencers and leverages existing influencer talent to support and scale the Company’s social media marketing campaigns. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, signing, and maintaining relationships with influencer partners.
Essential Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Social Media Management and cross function marketing to oversee social influencer communications, asset management, reporting, and seeding programs in support of campaign and overall social media objectives and key results. Includes coordinating product seeding orders, distribution, and tracking within budget for each quarter
- Implement influencer campaigns and seeding commitments including execution, budget maintenance, performance analysis and reporting on campaign effectiveness against defined performance indicators. Partner with Brand and Marketing teams to define and establish influencer standard methodologies and refine process
- Actively source and evaluate new influencer talent across social media platforms that reach the Company’s target fan audience. Cultivate and develop influencer, opinion leader, content creator and testers/reviewer relationships across loyal fan segments. Determine influencer fit for current and planned marketing campaigns, including evaluating past influencer performance
- Administer product seeding programming including sending product to influencers, tracking influencer referrals and product feedback with the intent of creating organic secondary and influencer content. Ensures influencers understand and follow terms of use across channels
- Acts as the main point-of-contact for influencers to provide guidance on KEEN brand, new products talking points, and campaigns, and communicate campaign goals, objectives and expected influencer deliverables
- Assists with content production, fan communication, and posts when necessary
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Three (3) or more years of experience in marketing or a related role is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Two (2) or more years of experience with influencer/ambassador marketing strongly preferred. At least one (1) year of experience with influencer/ambassador or social media marketing required
- Understanding of current and emerging social media platforms an influencer content
- Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to approach unknown contacts with ease
- Strong organizational, project coordination and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a lean, entrepreneurial, highly cross-functional matrix environment. Reliable in meeting deadlines and communicating necessary updates or progress
- Strong negotiating and relationship building skills
- Ability to create contracts according to campaign needs and budget
- Able to handle assets and ensure compliance with contractual agreements
- Intermediate analytical skills with an ability to identify and seek information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Basic understanding of global marketing trends, tools, technologies, platforms, and best practices
- General knowledge of global and regional social media performance and trends
Travel Required
Up to 15% of work time will involve travel
