E-Commerce Specialist Job Description & Requirements
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The SCARPA N.A. (SNA) E-Commerce Specialist (ES) is responsible for coordinating direct to consumer sales, operating, and maintaining SNA's e-commerce platforms, and reporting on e-commerce activities. The ES is an in-house sales specialist focused on direct sales customers, accounts, initiatives and operating procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for maintaining and operating the e-commerce platform, including, promotions, store management, and testing.
- Research and report generation from platforms, including an ERP, CDP, Email Platform, Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- Work closely with the Customer Service team and DSM to refine workflows, operating procedures, and improvements.
- Proficiency in customer service tasks and duties, including entering sales orders and consumer communications.
- Assist DSM in managing 3rd party sales platforms (Expert Voice, OPL, Amazon, etc.).
- Assist DSM and Marketing Team to monitor and optimize SEM promotions.
- Ability to present and sell SCARPA products and programs to consumers and dealers.
- High level of proficiency with office computers and operating systems (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, NetSuite etc.).
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (following duties are required on all positions):
- Maintaining knowledge of SNA's ERP, electronic communication and data systems.
- Maintain consumer support and technical product knowledge.
- Uphold SNA's core values, mission and business goals.
- Follow all SNA policies and guidelines as noted in the Employee Handbook.
CUSTOMERS:
Internal: SNA Administrative and Sales staff, Operations team, Distribution Center, Marketing team and Product Services.
External: SNA Direct retail customers, wholesale dealers, professional customers, educational institutions and governme
