RUN MARKETING COORDINATOR

SCOTT Sports USA is looking for a motivated and qualified individual for the full-time position of RUN MARKETING COORDINATOR to be located in our Salt Lake City office. SCOTT Sports was established in 1958 and has grown into an international action-sport brand. Core sports divisions for the brand include: Bike, Wintersport, Motosport and Running. Internationally based in Fribourg, Switzerland, the North American headquarters is located in Holladay, UT.

As SCOTT Sports Run Marketing Coordinator, the business will be looking to this individual to define the future of the Run category in the US. Building through the line marketing campaigns, working hand in hand with Sales to deliver a multi-year strategy, in addition to managing a growing Sports Marketing roster and defining and managing an events schedule is where the successful candidate’s tmain efforts will be placed.

 

This is a role for a self-starter looking to make their mark. An ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, an ability to excel in ambiguity, and the ability to plan at a strategic level and execute at a detail level.  You will work alongside a passionate and energetic SCOTT marketing team.


Core Abilities

SCOTT Sports seeks to employ individuals with talent, commitment, enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to join our fast-paced work environment and tackle a diverse set of tasks including -

  • Develop and execute a strategic category marketing roadmap with a focus on delivering sales of both new releases and evergreen products.
  • Lead and execute all marketing activities as they relate to the SCOTT US Run Division.
  • Manage allocated budget for all marketing activities including Athletes, Ambassadors, Events, Media Purchasing, and Content Production.
  • Identify new opportunities and areas of growth to increase brand visibility and market presence.
  • Plan and execute all tradeshows and events from selection and production through to staffing and analysis.
  • Manage and execute a Running Social Media strategy consisting of both organic and paid promotion across existing SCOTT channels.
  • Cultivate and manage a growing athlete and ambassador roster with personalized objectives created for each member of the roster.
  • Execute a media buying strategy to deliver maximum SCOTT presence in both endemic and non-endemic media.
  • Responsible for inventory and management of demo shoe fleet and sales marketing products.
  • Plan and coordinate photo and video content opportunities for both product and storytelling around key athletes and ambassadors.
  • Ensure athlete and partner deliverables are consistent with contracts.
  • Liaise with International Colleagues from both HQ and other subsidiaries to ensure a consistent global messaging around key product launches.
  • Work closely with International HQ to ensure all local needs are met.
  • Lead the SCOTT USA editorial and PR efforts by developing and maintaining contact with key media contacts and developing and producing media kits when necessary for product launches.
  • Manage development and release of US Specific customer communications and localize and assist in release of international consumer communications.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the Sporting Industry – Running industry experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, business or communications and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Strong digital skills, with proficiency in modern workflows.
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge and understanding of social platforms
  • Strong communication skills & detail oriented
