PRN Therapeutic Adventure Guide Job Description & Requirements
PIVOTPoint WNC is looking to hire 1-3 PRN field guides for our therapeutic adventure day programming. Outings are 4-6 hours in duration, compensated at $267-$412 a day, and must be available weekends. Work scheduled out monthly. We have built this organization upon the core belief that our staff are the anchor of our deliverables. We prioritize staff well-being, and cultivate top-level, client-centered care. Expectations:
1. Personal alignment with PIVOTPoint WNC's core values: intentionality (honesty, integrity, accountability, fairness, and equity), growth-oriented (community, organization, individuals), and team-oriented. 2. 3+ years of direct care experience in a mental/behavioral health or comorbid substance use field. Applicants demonstrate a working knowledge of head/senior/master level field staff comparable skills. 3. Applicants are looking to commit for the long-term (1-year). 4. Applicants are knowledgeable and experienced in various therapeutic modalities, have done their own personal work, and is capable and invested in creating meaningful groups. Applicants must possess the necessary intuition, planning, and investment level to facilitate high-caliber processing groups with multiple (4) rounds of client engagement. 5. Applicants demonstrate consistent work ethic and display commitment. 6. Carry WFR/Adult and Child CPR certifications preferred but must be willing to schedule upon hire. 7. Additionally offered: paid training and professional development; outdoor gear ProDeals; activity-specific trainings/recertifications reimbursement available.
