North America Sales Rep-Southeastern USA Job Description & Requirements
Role Summary
The ASSOS of Switzerland North America Sales Representative (NASR) will be responsible for developing and servicing ASSOS’ network of premium bicycle dealers throughout the southeastern United States, focusing on Florida. The NASR will be a passionate evangelist for the ASSOS brand and promote our products to both retail employees and end consumers. He/she will travel within our key markets visiting our existing retailer partners to improve how we serve our end consumers and potential new retail partners who align with our premium positioning. The NASR will be passionate about all things cycling and have a very strong desire to establish a career in the cycling industry.
The NASR can be based anywhere in the eastern United States but will require significant (c. 75%) travel throughout Florida and the southeastern United States more broadly in a customized ASSOS van. It will also require occasional travel to ASSOS headquarters in Ticino, Switzerland.
This role will report into the North American Sales Director based in Salt Lake City, UT.
Key Responsibilities
· Travel throughout sales region visiting bicycle dealers to service existing accounts and prospect new ones
· Drive sales of ASSOS by increasing revenue per door and opening new doors
· Promote the ASSOS brand and its lineup of exceptional cycling apparel for both road and off-road cycling
· Assist North American Sales Director in development of marketing and distribution strategies which can reach the target region’s revenue, profitability, and market share objectives
· Provide customer-level sales performance data, performance against KPIs, and market insight to North American Sales Director
· Collaborate with ASSOS marketing team to develop, deliver, and evaluate marketing programs within the market
· Participate in or lead marketing events such as group rides or shop events
· Provide consumer and dealer feedback to product design and development teams at ASSOS HQ to assist with ASSOS’ never ending quest to develop the world’s highest performing cycling apparel
Desired qualifications and experience
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Experience
· 2+ years relevant experience in the cycling industry, particularly with working with IBDs
· 2+ years relevant sales experience with proven results in a highly competitive environment
· Knowledge of the Florida bicycle dealer network
· Accomplished road cyclist with confidence to lead group rides
· Experience working with global brands and premium brands
· Demonstrated track record of working with multiple stakeholders in a team environment in a highly collaborative manner
Personal skills and attributes
· Passion for and understanding of the sport of cycling
· Passion for and understanding of prestige brands
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of building relationships and using diplomacy in stressful interactions

· Strong analytical skills and ability to track performance against KPIs

· Ability to travel 75% of the time across the United States and occasionally to Ticino, Switzerland
Compensation
· USD 40-50k base with annual bonus up to 20% of salary
· All the ASSOS cycling apparel required to meet your needs (typically 2-4k per annum)
