Marketing Digital Analyst Job Description & Requirements
JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Analyst will be responsible for supporting Digital Sales and Marketing initiatives by translating sales, inventory and marketing data into analysis, reporting and strategic insights. This role will work closely with Americas sales and marketing teams and partner with the Global performance marketing team to provide actionable business intelligence for the DTC channel, Amazon and other key ecommerce partners. Simultaneously, work with IT and sales operations to improve data collection, management and quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct to consumer analysis
- o Maintain sales and marketing reports by running, reviewing and analyzing key metrics data on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- o Automate frequent reporting requests to maximize efficiency
- o Develop and maintain new reports increasing visibility to and understanding of consumer activity and behavior in the DTC channel
- Ecommerce customer analysis
- o Work closely with Amazon team and within sales and advertising platforms to improve the quality and frequency of sales and marketing reporting
- o Support other key ecommerce partners and internal teams with development and maintenance of ongoing reporting
- Database development and maintenance
- o Responsible for maintaining DTC marketing and Amazon Advertising data imports
- o Liase with internal teams to understand product and portfolio changes, analyzing how they impact business activity
- Business intelligence
- o Perform ad hoc analysis to support specific business initiatives and requests
- o Help assess market trends and communicate findings internally
RECOMMENDED POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- BA in Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics or other quantitative discipline
- 4+ years of data analytics in relation to digital marketing or ecommerce field
- Very comfortable with data analysis in Microsoft Excel; pivots, macros, vlookup tables, etc
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Facebook Business Manager and other digital sales/marketing platforms
- Amazon Vendor Central and Advertising Platform experience a plus
- Ability to collaborate, communicate and present effectively across disciplines and teams
- Able to juggle and prioritize multiple projects and timelines
- Experience with MS Office suite and Office 365
