Marketing Assistant Job Description & Requirements
This position is responsible for reporting, organization, and content optimization. This position will assist with a variety of marketing functions of a startup business and will interact with multiple departments including product development, sales, operations and customer service. This position will assist the marketing team, website manager, creative content manager and copywriter by performing the following duties.

Job Duties
Reporting and Research

Maintain automated Google Studio Data connections with Shopify to track KPIs.

Attend marketing meetings and take notes on data needed for marketing initiatives.

Build reports based on marketing initiatives and priorities.
-
Work with the marketing team to ensure Google Analytics 4, Meta events manager, Klaviyo integration, and other Shopify apps that provide data are functioning.

Research questions based on direction from copywriter to inform search-engine optimized terms for apparel seasonality, fabrics, color ways, and product features.

Find relevant articles and posts to share on social media
Admin + Organization
-
Organize, relabel, and optimize images in Google Drive and HeyOrca for social media and web usage.

Create and maintain physical organization and online database of all clothing, sample products, and props.
-
Place seeding sample orders, ensuring the order is sent and received in a timely manner.
-
Assist on photo and video shoots as needed.
Event Marketing

Attend 4 organization partner conferences
-
Assist with event planning and organization
-
Staff trades/sales/conference booths
-
Run point of sale at conferences.
-
Organize event swag and booth merchandising materials.

Ship out swag/event materials
-
Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
-
Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

Attends all relevant meetings.
-
Respectfully takes direction from the manager.
-
Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university or Associate degree from college or technical school and 1 to3 years(s) working in a similar role.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
This position does not require any certificates, licenses, or registrations.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Computer Skills
Has advanced specialized computer skills that require mastery of applicable software in such fields as graphic design, video production, technical writing, statistics and web based training.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Travel
This position requires occasional travel for 20% of the position, often overnight or multiple days.
