Overview of role:

 

As the MTO Project Coordinator you will be the multi-dimensional liaison between customers and cross-functional teams to push projects forward. You will be responsible for facilitating communication, identifying customer needs, as well as best practices to support brand initiatives.  

With guidance from the MTO Manager, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to build Pearl Izumi’s MTO business while enhancing the consumer experience.  The successful candidate will ensure that a complete asset package is submitted for each MTO project aligning with the customer’s expectations. 

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for opportunity vetting across all channels of the brand’s custom apparel business. 

·       Responsible for ensuring all project materials are received and ready for execution

·       Is the product expert for all Make To Order (custom) apparel

·       Accountable for project execution by identifying all party needs, setting project timelines, adhering to customer budgets, & actively communicating with all parties to exceed expectations & ensure on-time delivery.

·       Anticipates project needs, discerns work priorities, coordinates and monitors timelines, and ensures deadlines are met.

·       Follows through with all tasks, assignments and job duties in a timely manner - with a strong sense of urgency

·       Focuses one’s efforts on discovering, meeting and exceeding stakeholder’s needs and expectations.  

·       Respond to all inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. 

·       Interacts with others in a constructive, positive and respectful manner. 

·       Assists team members or coworkers in achieving goals and completing assignments.

·       Adviser to all Inside & Outside Sales Teams to ensure partnerships that support the company mission.

·       Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and varied cross functional teams to achieve company goals and execute growth opportunities

·       Effectively handles changing environments within the organization; maintaining effectiveness when dealing with multiple and conflicting priorities, or during times of adversity.

·       Accurately assesses critical issues and concentrates work efforts on them to produce valued results.  

·       Effective in using active listening skills when engaging in conversation when approached with a challenge.

·       Maintains personal productivity and effectiveness in the midst of change, ambiguity, or stress. 

·       Responsible for proofing material at all stages of projects. 

·       Identifies key trends opportunities, and organizational capabilities that would bring competitive advantage to the organization.  

·       Sees trends before others and integrates concepts in a unique way.

 

 

Job Qualifications:

· Demonstrated project management background in support of varied national accounts, brand initiatives, and/or key partner growth opportunities

·   Experience working with varied sales teams & graphic designers

·   Able to identify all party needs (customer & brand) in the interest of developing & maintaining successful long-term partnerships

· Communicates efficiently & effectively, working collaboratively in an open environment with product and operations teams and cross-functional partners.

·     Ability to maintain high level of service and relationship management support.

·     Resolves issues in a manner that builds trust with customers and team members.

·    Self-starter and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·    Excellent written and verbal communication

·    Receives feedback and criticism in a positive manner

·    Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·    Ability to manage multiple sources of data

·     Proactive thinking, initiative, and composure in a fast paced environment

·    Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Illustrator).

·    Personal interest and involvement in cycling preferred.
