Inventory Specialist Job Description & Requirements

Dave & Matt Vans is looking for an Inventory Specialist. This position reports to the Production Systems Manager and is critical in maintaining the inventory necessary for us to produce our Lifestyle Vans. This position is responsible for maintaining and auditing the inventory system. This will include receiving shipments, operating the necessary machinery to accurately store and move inventory as needed. Position works closely with Purchasing & Vendor Relations on any inventory and receiving discrepancies. The position will also assist with prefabrication builds as necessary.

You are someone who is highly organized with a keen eye for detail with a proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. You are task oriented, consider yourself a hard-working individual, are open to coaching and opportunities outside the scope of your role. Repeating processes and finding more efficient ways to complete those processes is an exciting prospect. A work hard, play hard environment is enticing to you.

Ideal Experience

- Familiarity with Google Sheets is helpful but experience with excel and other spreadsheet tools work as well.

- Prior experience with inventory management is preferred but not required.

- Experience working in a production environment or facility is helpful.

- Forklift or machine operations experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements

- Must be comfortable working with a variety of power tools and equipment.

- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 70+ pounds regularly

- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment and able to work on concrete floors.

The Nitty-Gritty

Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Schedule: 40+ hours/week - Monday through Friday with occasional flex schedule based on delivery cadence.

Base Hourly Wage: Starting at $20/Hour. Varies based on experience and expertise.
