Facilities Manager Job Description & Requirements

Dave & Matt Vans is looking for a Facilities Manager to maintain and oversee our van production facility in Rifle. The position will ensure the workspace is safe, clean and functional including. Daily inspection of facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating renovations and updates and general cleaning. Other duties include negotiating contracts with service providers including janitorial. Position will work closely with suppliers for scheduling delivery and receipt of inventory.

You take pride in creating a space that is functional, safe and helps other employees with the tools needed to build our lifestyle vans. You enjoy working with other people and understand how the facility is a critical part of our operation.

Ideal Experience

- Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and other building systems

- Proficiency with repair tools and techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of team members and vendors

- Great time management, organization and prioritization abilities

- Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills

- Previous experience and working knowledge of fire and life safety and industrial hygiene.

Physical Requirements

- Must be comfortable working with a variety of power tools and equipment

- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 70+ pounds regularly

- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment and able to work on concrete floors.

The Nitty-Gritty

Job Type: Full time, Salaried

Schedule: 40+ hours/week; some weekends may be required

Base Salary: Starting at $55,000. Varies based on experience and expertise.
