Director of Production Job Description & Requirements

Role Overview

Dave & Matt Vans is looking for a DIRECTOR OF PRODUCTION to join our growing team. This position is responsible for van production operations at our location in Rifle, CO. Position responsibilities include oversight of our prefabrication and van build teams as well as building management, purchasing, inventory and process improvement and documentation.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with expert attention to detail. You are experienced building A+ teams and creating systems to allow them to work autonomously. You value and emphasize work efficiency, employee satisfaction, and teamwork, presenting the highest level product and facility. The ability to thrive working in a fast paced environment while juggling multiple tasks is a must. You are organized in your daily approach, but have the ability to think both short and long term to make the correct decisions. You understand, or are able to quickly learn, the start to end process of building our lifestyle vehicles and implement the systems to support our growing manufacturing operation. You are excited and have the background to design and implement efficient business processes.

Ideal Experience

- 4+ years leadership experience with proven ability to lead and align diverse teams.

- Successful experience with a high volume or production environment and the ability to lead teams to their maximum potential. Proven background leveraging technology and systems to create more efficient business processes.

- The ability to envision business improvements and plan, execute, and evaluate their implementation.

- Accounting/bookkeeping experience including writing/maintaining budgets, properly categorizing income and expenses, and using reports to monitor and evaluate financial health.

The Nitty-Gritty:

Job Type: Full time

Schedule: Flexible, average 40 hours per week.

Wage: Salary, starting at $65,000 per year depending on experience.
