Tunxis Club Inc.

The Tunxis Club, founded in 1898 as a hunting and fishing club, is a private membership organization located in the southern Berkshires whose members are committed to the Club enduring as a special place with a multitude of natural resources including forests, ponds and natural habitats for wildlife balanced with outstanding social and recreational opportunities for its members.  The Club sustains stewardship of these exceptional resources in ways that enhance members' interaction with nature and that preserve the integrity of its environment in the midst of increasing developmental pressures in the region.
